This Privacy Policy explains how Dough Me Nation ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Dough Me Nation mobile app and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account details — your email address, and the name and phone number you provide, so we can identify you and process your orders.
- Delivery information — delivery addresses you save, including approximate location coordinates used to place an order at the correct address.
- Device location — with your permission, and only while you are using the app, we use your device's location to fill in your delivery address. Granting it is optional: you can decline and type your address instead, and you can change this at any time in your device settings.
- Order history — the items you order and related order details.
- Device & notifications — a push notification token for your device, so we can send you order status updates. You can disable notifications in your device settings at any time.
- Address search — text you type when searching for an address, sent to our address-lookup provider to return suggestions.
- Technical data — basic technical information (such as app version and general request logs) needed to operate and secure the Service.
We sign you in with a one-time code sent to your email; we do not store a password. We do not collect or store your full card details — payments are handled by our payment provider.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and log you in.
- To process, fulfil, and deliver your orders, and show you order status.
- To send transactional messages (login codes and order updates).
- To provide address suggestions and save your delivery addresses.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
How we share your information
We share information only as needed to run the Service:
- Order & menu processing — Deliverect, which routes your order to the restaurant and returns menu and order-status information.
- Payments — our payment provider, which processes your payment securely. We do not receive or store your full card number.
- Address suggestions & maps — Google, to return address autocomplete results for what you type.
- Push notifications — Apple, Google, and our push delivery provider, to deliver notifications to your device.
- Email delivery — our email provider, to send your login codes.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. You may ask us to delete your account and associated personal data (subject to records we must retain by law).
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent to notifications at any time. To make a request, contact us at info@doughmenation.com.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and limit access to it.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us.
